Hi, I'm Dette. A self taught artist from Laguna, Philippines. Growing up it was hard for me to find the perfect medium where I can express my emotions until I learned how to use watercolor, though I also do digital art. Creating art through watercolor helps me translate my emotions easily. Most of my paintings is about a human emotion that is no stranger to us all. Sadness - I find sadness so beautiful and intriguing. The feeling of painting with this emotion is also the same when listening to your favorite sad songs. It's painful yet it heals you because being sad is completely normal and we shouldn't avoid it. I also love to incorporate cosmic stuff on my art because I'm a sucker for space. I usually get some of my ideas through songs I'm currently listening to, poems, books I read and from what I feel at the moment.
